Application
Parents must complete and submit the application along with all required documentation to the Principal. Once received, the Admissions Committee will be convened to review the application.
Placement Test
A prospective student may be asked to take a placement test. Based on the results and other relevant factors, the Principal, in consultation with the teacher, will determine the most appropriate grade or group placement.
Review
The Admissions Committee will evaluate the application materials and make a recommendation to the School Board. The School Board will then make the final determination regarding the student’s acceptance.
Admission
Upon acceptance, the Principal will notify the parents and provide the necessary registration forms. Parents will also be required to submit the registration fee and school supply fee at this stage.
Registration
Once all registration documents are completed and submitted, the Treasurer and/or Principal will assist families in setting up a FACTS account for tuition payments for the academic year.
Enrollment Confirmation
After all steps are completed, the student will be officially enrolled at [School Name] and ready to begin their educational journey.

All students accepted to Wilmington Junior Academy are automatically placed on a nine-week probationary status. The board reserves the right to dismiss a student prior to the end of the probationary period or to extend the probationary period because of behavioral or academic problems. Acceptance for a given school year does not guarantee acceptance for the following school year(s).
